Give me courage to speak my truth.
Aquamarine has two main aspects to it. Firstly, it is your go to communication stone. It will help you better relay what’s on your heart, will lend you courage to have a tough conversation, and alleviate anxiety if you are about to speak in front of an audience.
Aquamarine helps with your throat chakra – both helping you when you need to speak and heals a sore throat.
Second important aspect of the stone is its affiliation with water. Aquamarine protects those who travel by water or near it, so if you’re flying across the ocean or are taking a cruise – aquamarine is a good crystal to pack with you. In a more metaphorical way, the stone helps with transitions of other kinds – not in a geographical sense, but as in transition between phases, as it regulates hormones.
In a beautiful way, those two properties – voice and water – come together in an old belief that aquamarine was the favourite stone of mermaids.
Crystal Practice: Siting up straight, place your crystal at the eye level several inches away in front of your head. Take a few deep breaths and recite the mantra: I am light. I am clarity.
